Aximsitex5icon Price & (batt,warm-up) time Diff between BT, CF I/O, SD I/O, and serial GPS devices

Hey, I think I'm going to buy a gps add-on for my axim x50v, and just wondering have a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with...

>>>What is the approx difference between Bluetooth, CF I/O, SD I/O, and serial GPS devices in ... ?

- Price -

- Warm-up time with cold start -

- Battery power in Axim (considering bt-on with bt gps and bt-off with the others) -

P.S. I have searched through other posts and still find myself with these questions not being fully answered.

The bluetooth / CF / SD / serial is the interface. Bluetooth is wireless, but the pda has to have bluetooth to work, while serial is attached by a cable usually to the bottom of the PDA, and SD/CF require a slot to use

Warm-up time... is how long it takes before it starts getting signals and can be used. The longer it is, the longer it will take before a program can start telling you where you are at. Some things like travelling a long distance with it off will also make this process longer.

Battery life: I can't remember the exact figure, but I think I saw at one point that bluetooth consumed power 1/8 as fast, I'm not sure if that's with or without constant data travel. If you go with bluetooth, you might as well have either a powered mount, or a car charger for the PDA so that the battery isn't dead by the time you get to a destination a good distance away. I think pretty much every BT GPS comes with a car charger. I think all of these will end up using extra battery anyway, except for the serial, which is powered by a car charger with certain ones.
