Hello,

I am using my X51V connected to a 7" car TFT, so I am using duplication mode (VGA out) and landscape (horizontal) display.

My preferred GPS navigator is TomTom but latest version 5.21 does not work in horizontal VGA out mode.
TT5.21 is not able to set blue data diplay band at left or right side. It is very important when in horizontal mode.
Also, TT5.21 maps seems to be very old.

It seems to me what I need is a true full WM5 compatible GPS navigator, not just a patched old version. Any recommendation?

In addition to this, I would like to know if there is any way to switch among tasks when inside an application like TomTom that takes control over graphics. For example to switch between TT and MediaPlayer.

Try Mobile Navigator 5 from Navigon (www.navigon.com). In my opinion this is the best gps software and I'm looking forward to ver. 6 :approve:

It also gives you the possibility to get access to the Home menu (and thus all your other applications) without exiting Mobile Navigator.
