Hello everybody ,

i've recently boucht a CF gps card from haicom ( HI-303E) but when i put it in the cf slot i get the message :" unknown card in socket 1" and asks me what the driver name is . I've searched everywhere on the net but i can't find a solution , can anyone help me ?

Just ignore the message. It thinks the card is a modem and is looking for a driver. You don't need one.

i understand , but i can't connect to the gps with tomtom 5 navigator , when i pick ' other NMEA GPS ' baudrate 4800 ( like it has to be ) de CF card isn't a choice.
i can choose com3 , Ir , USB or com 1 serial , i've tried them all but nothing works ,
can it be that TT5 doesn't reconize Haicom HI-303E ?

What rom version do you have? If you have A06 you can try the interim patch at buygpsnow.com . Or if that doesn't work, you can try updating to the A12 rom at dells support site.
