Hide the geocaching waypoints

First...what I am working with: I'm using the Garmin GPS 10 (bluetooth) with the included software (garming que) upgraded to version 2.9.

I just downloaded ALL of the Geocache waypoints in my area. It's great to have them all in my Ax so that I can go caching whenever I want...BUT...when I dont want to go caching, the darn little treasure chests (marking each cache) get really annoying. They cover most of the roads and make the maps look really cluttered and somtimes unreadable.

Is there any way that I can hide some/all waypoints when I dont want to see them...and then turn them back on when I am in the mood to go caching?

You can turn down the map detail. I also have the GPS10 and haven't been using Que software long enough to give you a better answer.

I have been playing around with all of the menus for a while. I dont think there is any way to turn waypoints on/off. But, one option I found does help. If you go to Menu->Map Setup then go to the "Point" tab, at the top of the screen it has a few waypoint options. I set it so that waypoints wont show up for any zoom above .5 miles. That way, when Im zoomed pretty far in, I can see a few waypoints that I am lookng for, but zoomed out, the roads dont get covered by the icons (which remain the same size, regardless of zoom).

It's not exactly what I was looking for, but it helps. Hopefully the new software that Garmin is bringing out for the GPS10 will be better. It looks pretty advanced.
