Wow, I had no idea that V3 was out. Has anybody tried the AutoPC install?

I use my Axim as my autoPC with an LCD screen. The current (v2) downside is that the buttons and stuff are all sized for a tiny screen when you use your PPC, even if you have a BIGGER screen attached, it doesn't make up for that by givving you bigger buttons. You just get a lot of unused real-estate on the screen. I'm hoping that the AutoPC version will change that.


Also, can anybody tell me if they fixed the display problems when running at high-res in a landscape orientation? In some setups with 2.1.3, the bottom part of the screen would not update the map. It was like iG only knew that a portion of the screen existed as far as drawing the map.

I'm happy with 2.1.3 but if they've fixed these things, I may pony up the $100

This is a very informative thread! I am actually at the point where I need to decide which nav software to purchase... and this thread is definitely giving me some direction.
Did anyone test any European navigation software with WM5? iG, Destinator, or TT? Does anyone on the venerable Aximsite know why iNav has discontinued its iG Europe 2.1.2? Are they presumably coming out with iG 3 for old continent? Anyone from iNav on this list? Thanks!
