Question Looking for a simple GPS utility

I've been looking all over but no luck so far!?

What I'm looking for is a simple utility/application that let me capture and remember my position (POI) quickly to a simple log/text file (in WGS84 format or similar) along with a few lines of text for description.

The key here is simplicity and easy of use. All/most GPS application I checked are way overkill for my (current) need, anyone here who knows?

OK, tested VisualGPSce and it's very similar to GPSDash that I tried before but it's not really what I'm looking for and still overkill... I couldn't find an easy way to save current position (POI) along with a few lines of text as a description.

Ultimately the application I'm looking for should have just 2 buttons ("Get current position" and "Save to textfile") along with a simple edit field for the description text.

Any other suggestions?

I use GPSTuner 4.2 and it has the ability to store a location as a waypoint. When you tap the map area and choose to store the waypoint, it pops up a screen where you can enter the name, category (airport, bank, bar, beach, etc), and description for that point - the data is stored as Long/Lat coordinates as well as altitude.

You can then go to a menu setting and choose to export your waypoints to several formats, one of which is a .txt format. Of course it has a lot of other functions too - but they have to make the software feature-rich to sell!

Thanks solara, will give GPS Tuner a second look but i'm a bit surpriced that such a simple utility doesn't exist. I may end up writing something simple in eVB but keep thoose suggestion coming anyway...
