I have IGuidance 2.1.3.2 installed and my 3.0 DVD just arrived. The software installation instructions, which don't mention anything about upgrading an existing installation, say run Setup.exe then follow the instructions on the InstallShield Wizard. However, when I run Setup the software skips right past InstallShield to the MapLoader.
Do I just need to uninstall my previous installation first or am I ok in just proceeding with the MapLoader when it appears?
Yes, save the folder on your pc that is C:\iNav Iguidance if i remember right. it has the favorites data in it. I am not at my home pc so I can't look to be sure but I think that is right.

Uninstall from the PPC and PC using the program removal on each. Then install the new V3. When finished, cut new maps and copy them to the PPC. Once you restart you'll be ready to go, and your saved favorites should still be there and ready to go.
Thanks to all who replied. I just went ahead and uninstalled 2.1.3.2 and installed 3.0 and my favorites were still there.
I can see the POI database has been updated because a couple of out of business restaurants that were in my 2.1.3.2 data are now gone. It would be REALLY nice of IGuidance if they allowed users to make notations to or even delete POIs since I've seen a couple of restaurants in v3 that are OOB too.
