Anyone use the Akron DM320 mount with their Axim x50v?

I've tried two DM320 mounts with my x50v and with both the pda doesn't seem to seat properly. When mount shakes the power to the pda goes in and out; like a short.

I bought the mount as an upgrade when I purchased my BT GPS from www.buygpsnow.com. They've been kind enough to exchange the first mount, no questions asked. When the same thing happened with the second mount I called Akron. The said the x50v was not compatible with the DM320. That's crazy. They advertise it as being compatable both on the Akron site and the Buygpsnow site.

Wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

I have the DM320 and used it for my X50v. I had no problems like this.

Not that it should make a difference to this problem, but mine was solidly mounted to a bracket I already had in my truck (from an old installed car phone, remember them?) instead of using the suction gooseneck thingy.

Could the problem be either the power cord or the splitter? (or were they replaced when the mount was replaced?). Otherwise, maybe your cigarette lighter outlet has a loose connection somewhere?
