help for an Axim dummie Johnson City TN

Anyone with an AXIM X51v willing to help me get mine working with iGuidance GPS? I can't get it working. Neither could the guys at Circuit City!

I'll be away until 09/11 but would like some "techie" help if anyone is so inclined.

How to configure OCN5 for Bluetooth GPS Receivers with Windows Mobile 5 devices.
ID: 3038 Category: How-To Status: Resolved Views: 545

Question:
How to configure OCN5 for Bluetooth GPS Receivers with Windows Mobile 5 devices.

Solution:
Before you launch OCN5, turn on your Bluetooth GPS receiver and open the Bluetooth Manager of your Pocket PC in order to create a Bluetooth bond with your GPS receiver.

Tap on Start, Settings, Connections tab, tap on Bluetooth Icon.

Make sure the Turn on Bluetooth check box is checked.

Tap on Devices tab, select New Partnership... After a few seconds, you will see the BT GPS Device ID show on the Select a Bluetooth Device page. Tap once on the BT GPS Device ID and select Next

Enter a passkey, normally it is 0000 and select Next

Check the Serial Port checkbox and select Finish

Next, tap on COM Ports tab and select New Outgoing Port

Tap once on the BT GPS Device ID/Name and select Next

Select a COM Port for this outgoing connection and uncheck Secure Connection and select Finish

Launch OCN5, activate the product if you have not done so and select Settings, scroll to GPS section and tap on Automatic Detection. OCN5 will automatically locate the COM Port and configure the baud rate automatically.
