I bought new X51v in June because my old X30 had been broken in January. The first serious occasion I wanted to use it for, was our 2 week trip to Finland. I don`t have any car charger but I`ve found out one trick. I couldn`t charge X51v directly from BT-338 car charger, but I could charge spare battery in cradle. Yes, I had to swap batteries (X51v <-> cradle) but it worked. I had to charge BT-338 too but I didn`t need any navigation during long journeys. Axim was off and BT-338 was charging

Nothing comfortable but it worked, my new X51v worked flawlessly all the time and we didn`t get lost
. We`d got 2 PDAs but my friend`s non-Dell PDA crashed after 3 days and my Axim was our only map
