You did not state the number of states in the northeast that you wanted to load. If you are looking to buy a card, then I would suggest purchasing as large a card as you can afford. I would suggest getting at least 1gb SD card, they are not much more than the 512 or 256mb. If you watch you can find 4 gb SD cards for just a little more than the 1gb card. On the CF side, usually the larger ones are more expensive. I would suggest getting at least 512mb or 1gb and compare the prices for the 4gb or 8gb ones.

I have had good results with www.zipzoomfly.com (most of their items offer free shipping) and just purchased a 1gb CF card from www.buy.com which I have not used yet.

All states NE of Pennsylvania and DC total about 296mb With Virginia and W. Virginia included, total is 371mb.

The program itself takes about 7.4mb on my PDA.
