Question Which way is better? Fastest or Shortest?

I buy a Holux and Mapopolis Nevigation last week and it works great. I just have one question. Which one in the nevigation setting do you guys use? Fastest and Shortest?? and do you use Freeway prefer? I try to test it myself. I like Mapquest.com a lot and hope the GPS will give the similiar result as Mapquest.com. But it just keeps changing style. Sometimes when I use Freeway prefer and Shortest options, GPS's direction looks more like Mapquest, but sometimes it is not. Who can give me an advice?? Thanks!

There is typically more than one way to reach a destination. The programs were writtent by different people, so they calculate the route in different ways.

Remember, Mapopolis directions will change depending on the degree for route calculation you set, freeway/toll road options selected and fastest or shortest route.

sometimess the shortest route is a twisty, two lane road with no passing zones, and full of blue haired geezerette drivers thinking it's Sunday. Go for the fastest route.
