Exclamation BT or Holux 236 issues need help asap

i have trip on monday so please help.and i have been working on this for 8 hours its now 6 am geez.....here are the details belows thanks inadvance.

I have a Dell axim x51v Ao6 rom, with IG3 software, I have had your GPS for a few months now, and it was working with no issues , great software and GPS.

I had to do a hard resent, and i have reloaded all my software, including the IG3 and the GPS drivers, I have tried paring but with no luck,

when the AX sees the 236 when pairing, it has a yellow ? mark beside it, what does this mean ?

I can get my CF GPS to work with Streets& trips, but it will not work with the IG3 software.hmmm I have loaded and reloaded the software several times but with no changes. I ave tried all the com port option that i have read, still nothing works.,.

BTW I have posted this on GPS now site as well, really could use some help here please guys...
I am getting a good blue light for the BT and a orange blinking for the sat signal, the charge light works when plugged in.
I have search till i am blue in the face... post a link if you think it will help..

Have you tried the widcomm BT stack instead of the native MS BT stack? It solved all my be problems immediately.

The yellow means it's connected! Now you have to set the outcome port to make it work. And there is one more step. I will leave you to figure that out. hahaha..

okay I began from scratch, updated to AO12, done, wiped 2 gigSD card,
installed the GPS drivers for the 236, next pared unit still geting yellow question mark beside name of the gps , next re-installed IG3.0 from disk, next started program, its till will not see the BT GPS.

I put in the CF card Pharos GPS and it found it , the IG3 works, so now what am i doing wrong with the BT 236 ?

236

When you open iGuidance, goto tools -> GPS Options -> select your COM port, should be Com 7 then select your Baud Rate as 4800.

Now minimize/close out of iGuidance and goto your start menu and goto settings. Tap the System tab. Now find GPS, tap that icon and make sure your GPS program port is set on GPD7. Now select the Hardware tab and be sure the GPS Hardware Port is also set to COM 7 and the Baud Rate is 4800. It should now be working. Keep in mind it takes around 6-10 seconds for the Axim and 236 to actually connect-not just pair. They will pair no problem, but to actually get them to start working together these are the procedures you should follow. Hope this helps
