Important improvement in the TrackMe section on website http://www.trackthisout.com

You can now specify an address or a POBox to show the map of that particular region (besides a lat/lon coordinate). Examples:

· 1 Telegraph Hill Blvd, San Francisco, CA, USA

· 4144 Avenue Pierre-De-Coubertin, Montreal, Canada

· Champ de Mars 75007 Paris, France

· Piazza del Colosseo, Roma, Italia

· Plaza de la Virgen de los Reyes, 41920, Sevilla, Spain

· 123 Main St, Googleville

· 5600MB, Nederland

· Leidseplein, Amsterdam,Nederland

· 52.36423387,4.88310099



By pressing Export, you can export these maps to your PocketPC in just a glance to use them in Tracky. Tracky supports multiple maps at possibly various zoom-levels so you can repeat the above process to capture maps for each region you are interested in.



The export feature (unfortunately…) only works for Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6 or 7), due to its dependency on ActiveX technology. If you have problems with the export feature, please refer to http://www.trackthisout.com/ExporterHelp.html

About that Tracky "Free map export". (www.trackthisout.com) TrackMe

I hope you all noticed that you also get the calibration file for the map (.txt), when hitting "Export"! :)

Should work/ be of use for any GPS-app that can use .bmp, .jpg, .png etc. file-format as map. Like "GPS-tuner" maybe?
