choosing a GPS for older X5

I have an older axim X5 (that has the original operating system on it) and want to use it as a GPS device. My problem is- I don't have a clue as what to buy. Could someone point a newbie in the right direction. I would hate to buy the wrong thing.
Thanks!

I am using x5 with ppc 2003, my gps device includes holux GR-271 and iguidance v3, they work perfect!

i'm 2/3rds of the way there - i have an X5 with the holux gr271 and am contemplating iguidance - i'm really looking for freeware moving map software, but that's getting very hard to find, so i'm gonna have to bite the bullet!!!

I think most CF GPS units will work fine with that Axim. I have used a number of CF GPS units on mine. I know the GlobalSat BC-337 works. Also, the Pharo iGPS-CF and the Holux GM-270 worked fine. The GlobalSat is a SiRF III, however, so a much better choice than the others I listed.

I'd just like to thank the responders to the original post. Saved me so much research time knowing what to look for.
