Recommended GPS Software for X51v?

I'm a new Axim X51v owner and so far it's been great. I'm looking for some advice on what GPS software/kit is recommended. Thanks.

Recommended GPS Software and Car Holder for X51v?

Can anyone recommend a good GPS software and car holder for my new X51v? Also where you purchased your accessories would be helpful as well. Thanks.

You'll probably have a better chance at getting the question answered in the x51 forums

It all depends on what you plan to use it for. I have the iBlue 737 BT GPS receiver and iGuidance3. I primarily use it for driving directions and it works GREAT for me :approve:.

For GPS / Sat Nav I have the following Setup:

Axim X50v (4GB Transcend SD Card)
TomTom 6 UK & Ireland
GPSlim 236 Bluetooth GPS
Brodit Holder (Specific model for my Peugeot)
Brodit Active Holder with Cigarette Plug (Dell Axim Specific)

Not the cheapest to buy combination in the world but works most excellent.

I use iGuidance with the Holux GR-271 CF receiver. Bluetooth seems to be the new wave. But, I wanted something to I could use outside of my car for golfing and hiking. If you're strictly using it in your car, BT is probably the way to go.

I have this mount for my X50v:
http://www.semsons.com/ipogpsrecrmo4.html

I really like it because I can rotate it to landscape, and it holds the Axim securely.

It also has a power port that you can use to power your GPS receiver. Just use the pull down to select the type of connector.

I use iGuidance. It's the first turn-by-turn GPS I've ever used, but found it easy and powerful. However, just like all in car GPSs, sometimes you have to follow directions with a grain of salt.
