I have tried to load MS Pocket Streets on my PC and X50v 3 times. Install finishes but I can not find it on my PC or X50v. The 2nd and 3rd install included the repair clause so I believe it is somewhere. I'm using a Compact Armada M700 Pentium III 500 MHz with Win XP Pro. My X50v has WM2003 and was recently reflashed by PocketPCTechs. Thanx for your help.

If you have MS AutoRoute installed on your pc, Trips & Streets is simply an addition to the File Menu (Export map for Pocket Streets option under the File menu). I don't know about Pocket Streets, but surley it's under the Program Files - don't you get the New Programs Installed Message?

Pocket Streets should be listed under Programs on the Axim's Start Menu

I installed Streets & Trips 2006 anout 6 months ago on my PC. During that initial install on my PC, it asked if I wanted to install Pocket Streets as well. I said no originally. Just yesterday I installed Pocket Streets on my Axim. What I had to do was just right click the CD ROM drive and there was an actual option there to install Pocket Streets. Everything went fine.

I know it's probably not exactly what you are experiencing, but just thought anything would help.

Of course the Axim can't communicate with my external Garmin GPS which is driving me nuts...

I also bought the Microsoft Streets & Trips 2006 with GPS Locator almost a year ago. I managed to install the Pocket Street in my x50v. But there was, at that time, NO voice-prompted guidance for my x50v. Do you have the voice-prompted guidance for x50v from your Streets and Trips?

(By the way, my x50v is operating under Window Mobile 2003 Second Edition)

I had no problems installing it on my pc but did have problems intalling pocket streets. My pc would say it was installed on the axim but when I looked at maps on my axim they were no recognized as a valid program. After many installs like this I left the axim out of the craddle and my pc said the program would be installed after next connect. when I put it in the craddle I got the indication that install would happen and it worked. finally.
also I uninstalled pocket streets each time I did this before retrying a new install.

Pocket Streets does not show up on my Axim Program Files. Don't recall seeing a New Programs Installed.
Found something that said I need a CE 3.0 OS. Is that the same as WM 2003 SE?

I'm using Pocket Streets 2004. I've uninstalled, installed, etc., etc. Same thing for Active Sync 3.8. I've checked Pocket Streets on the Trips install and left it unckecked. I've had the X50v connected and unconnected through Active Sync. Even looked like it installed when reconnected. It still does not show up on on the Axim. I have exported maps in a Pocket Streets file to my SD card My Documents file. Clicked one of them and it could not find any program to open it.

I'm still confused about something else, what is CE 3.0? I run WM 2003 SE. Is that a problem?

I have Streets and Trips 2004, and the process was easy to follow. However, although it said it installed Pocket Streets, it is nowhere on my X50v. I clicked on the maps I already exported to the PPC. Nothing worked and I am getting very frustrated. Thanx for being there for me.

Tried the process again, probably for the last time. Removed Pocket Streets from my PC. I can not see it anywhere on my X50v. Removed and reinstalled Streets and Trips 2004 and clicked load Pocket Streets. All went well through the Streets and Trips install. Looked OK while loading Pocket Streets but... I noticed that the Install/Remove box outline that came up never had anything in it. After I clicked Finish, I checked the X50v and no Pocket Streets in sight.
