Hi all, been reading up on this for a while now and have searched this site for answers yet I still find myself confused.

I have an x50v and I just bought myself the i-Blue 737 GPS. I don't have an EB yet but I think I'm going to get a 2200mah one soon. I don't need the case to fit in the holder but I would like the axim and EB to do so yet it seems that most cases will not hold it. So far, I've seen a couple of suggestions for the Arkon 700 or 720 but I've also read negatives about this holder's ability to stay fixed to the windscreen and I think I'd also prefer to have a vent-mounted holder in any event. I've also seen a cheap suggestion for a "DIY" generic holder that can be bought from Target, Amazon.com, etc. but it lacks the ability to adjust viewing angles.

The Pro Clip seems like an excellent option but I don't like the idea of it being semi-permanent. What happens when I want to remove it i.e. does it damage the car where it's attached to the dashboard?

but I can't find any info on it anywhere; specifically whether it will fit the EB. Does anyone know if it will?

One key point I'd like to mention is that if I get the extended battery, I will be using it. So please don't query why I need one if I'm getting a car charger. I will be starting hospital rotations and using the PDA for medical software and I'd rather not having to worry about switching batteries; hence the desire for an EB.

I wrote to Gomadic and they told me that the EB would fit in their unit if the total depth was 0.85 inches or less but I believe it will be closer to one full inch so that seems to be a no go.

Anyone have any suggestions for a mount that would work with the EB? At this point, I thinking I have no choice but to go with a windshield one or a Pro Clip.
