Dell GPS and Pocket Topo problem solved!

Just thought I`d post this for alls information. I had been having trouble getting my Axim and Dells GPS unit to work with NGs Pocket Topo software. The problem it turns out is the same as many Tom Tom software users have had with their Axims.
I searched this site and found how a Registry error was causing problems with connectivity with Tom Tom, so I downloaded the editor and sure enough under the "friendlyname" value in the registry I had the russian characters. I changed to the suggested values and as soon as I brought the Pocket Topo application up it hooked right up to the GPS unit! I was worried that the changes would affect the way my Axim runs but after two days I don`t see any problems with its operation.
Thanks much to you guys who keep this site going.
