Does anyone offer free demos?

I am considering getting a GPS receiver in the near future. I am looking at the new Visiontac, or possibly the Wintech WBT-100. Which would anyone recommend? I like the datalogging feature of the wintech, but like what I have heard about the Visiontac also. The next question is the subject of this thread. Does anyone offer free demos of their navigation software? I am overwhelmed by all the info out there and would like to just try a couple of them myself. I was originally leaning towards OCN6, but of course we all know what happened with North America on that one. I hope someone can give me some suggestions. Getting close on time too, so need to find out soon. Procrastination is biting me in the booty again. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not much choice for demo versions

I spent the past few day trying to find demos of navigational software and found basically nothing.

I ended up getting iGuidance 3.0 and it's really nice. Today, after reading another post, I would have bought TomTom 6. Sounds like it's better.

I have the visiontac receiver and it's very nice. It has great reception, is tiny, cool looking, and cheap. $99 if you use the code mentioned on the front page.

I'm using an Axim x51v by the way.

Good luck,

Paul

Two packages have limited demos: Mapopolis, which is leaving the PDA market soon, has a 9 day demo. OdysseyMobile, by infogation.com, has a three day demo. Other than those, there are no demo packages.
