Mapopolis and other mapping apps..
I finally moved up to a BT GPS though I still use the Foretrex and eMap fpr specific applications. After spending most of the week looking for a mapping app for my Axim that suits my needs, I am more frustrated than ever.
Mapopolis appeared to be just what I want but they are closing shop. I'd be real tempted to buy it anyway if they'd put their map collection into a single download.
I have Street Atlas 2006 but it only seems to like Palm OS in the PDA realm. The older version of their XMap Street Atlas only likes COM1, COM2, and COM5 while my BT GPS prefers COM7 or COM8. Has anyone actually used SA 2007 on an Axim with BT? I'd be interested on your opinion.
I also own Precision Mapping v7 but it is not a PDA application but is sweet on a laptop with serial GPS.
I am currently trying the Odyssey trial (taughted as a full demo but limits to one map).
I have looked at a few others (Navio, PMAtlas, and Tracky) but have found each has it's own issues. Any others similar to Mapopolis in function?
