My Hardwares,

Holux CF GR-271 GPS reciever; Dell AXIM 51v; ToTom 6 North American Map.

Axim 51v GPS setup: Hardware port com4, software port was setup on com7.

Holux GPSviewer was installed w/o problem.

Case 1. Turn on the 51v. open the GPSviewer, it can find the GPS signal w/o problem. Open the TT6, it can find the GPS signal w/o problem. The arrow will stop move on the map after a while ( maybe 20 sec ), but My car still move @ 60 mph. Click the screen to manual or somewhere, then go back to driving screen. The arrow move again, after another 20 secs, stop again... again & again. During the whole period, The GPS signal r good ( the light of GR-271 blink all the time )

Case 2. If I just open TT6 without open Holux GPSviewer in advance. The TT6 cannot find the GPS device.

Case 3. If I turn off the Axim 51v GPS function and directly use the Hardware port com4 for TT6. It can find the GPS signal, but once the signal lost for whatever reasons, TT6 cannot get the signal back even the GPS reciever has the signal back.

My GR-271 is good. I tried it on Pharos Ostia & Destinator PN w/o problem.
