Hello,

I have just received the new TomTom 6 maps for North America. All of the maps amount to 1.2GB of disk space, but I only have a 1GB SD card. Is there any way I could only install the Canadian map. Better yet, could I just install Ontario?

You have several options using Tom Tom Home and I will just list the choices that include Ontario. When you insert your map DVD you will be prompted to install Tom Tom Home to your PC. In Tom Tom Home select Explore ( or Install to Tom Tom if you actually want to install stuff ) and you will be given a list of everything on the disc. Just connect your Ax / insert your flash memory and select the square check box next to the map region you want to install.

You can install all of Canada and Alaska ( 160 MB ) or ON, QC, NB, NS, PE, NF ( 63 MB ). I don't see any .cab files for just ON or smaller regions on the DVD.
