Excellent review. Can you summarize the key points of benefit over the TT6? I am not very interested in North America support, but want to buy a unit with Europe support before the next time I go to Europe.
1. Maps are more accurate
2. Route calculation is faster
3. Browsing maps with routes is a lot quicker
4. Overall performance just seems to be better compared to TT6
5. Perspective mode is much better
6. When driving the cockpit view shows you what road you're on. Sometimes in TT I like to have the software remind of what road I'm on... maybe I'm too picky. :)
7. Exit signs and directional turns are a little better compared to TT
With that in mind, I not ready to fully give up TT6. I will be using both depending on the situation. Prior to this I had iGuidance as a backup, mainly for map accuracy. So far I like what OCN6 offers.
Anybody know what to do in the event that auto-detect of the bluetooth gps does not occur? (Yes, the bluetooth receiver is on... and the bt-338 is working fine. A device search using WM5 finds it.)
I have to use Mortscript to get TT6 to switch (TT5 used to do this properly.
Landscape is supported. Please see the video demonstrations which were all captured under Landscape mode. Of course, you could switch back to portrait if you wish to.

can't wait for more reviews on OCN 6...want more feedback on this to compare to iGO 2006...but dam the new iGO being released later this year looks HOT!
I received OCN6 with 2007 maps and am impressed, so far. I sometimes get a pop-up that says I have out-of-date maps and I should go to www.i-go.com to update them.
I went to i-go and tried to register as instructed but it says either my license number is already registered or it is invalid. I've never registered it myself and didn't think I needed to.
Is this a fluke or did you folks register it before shipping?
