Sar: the pre-condition of this recomendation above is he has already installed OCN6.

OCN6 Question on SD Card
Simple question....
Can the OCN6 program and data be ported from the provided 2GB card to my 4GB SD card (I have the 150x Transend sd card). I would like to do this and retain the programs I have while avoiding swaping cards.

No. The security is tied to the card's internal id that cannot be changed.

This software has been out for a while now. Does anyone else have any additional input?

Have you seen the OCN6 review by Mr. Don, Microsoft MVP?

Well....I can tell you about my newest GPSr.... I got the I-Blue 737 and this thing is great! I was very satisfied with my Rikaline 6033-BT until the memory chip started rattling around inside the case. BUT...... I LOVE the 737! It is more accurate! Also very fast first fix.....and I've heard it said that you don't need all 12 satellites to be fixed.....but i think it is more accurate. I get 7-9 satellites locking on from inside the house(and not by a window either)! I know it shows my actual position a lot closer than the Rikaline did. And I don't even think about the battery.....I've used it for 2 days running 7-8 hours each day and leaving on sleep mode in between and have never even seen the charge light think about changing colors on me. I've been toying with the idea of trying for the 25 hours that is advertised. I think it would get close. The Rikaline would go about 9 hours total.....which in itself was good.....but the 737.......ROCKS! I got mine from the buyGPSnow eBay site.....and it took 2 days to get to TN from Cali! They are great people!

Jeeperman, you only need 4 satellites for a fix. 5-6 is better, beyond that the improvement is minimal. GPS201 talks about that a bit.

Oh, I know, Jake. But it just seems so much more accurate..... I'm just wondering if the i-Blue might not pick out the strongest signals of the 11-12 satellites that it is locking on. I know that I even read a review on this site that spoke of how accurate this unit is. I'm just real happy with it!!!

Strong doesn't matter, the signals contain digital information. So it's either there or not. A stronger signal may not flicker in and out, but if the digital information is there, it's used. I know it doesn't sound intuitive, but the system was designed to be robust in minimal reception conditions.
What is critical is the DOP, and DOP depends more on WHERE the satellites are above you than HOW MANY you can see.
But hey, if YOU feel better, then that's a good thing!

I finally bit the bullet and Upgraded from PocketMap Navigator 2003 (which I loved, but the maps are so old half the time I'm driving on new roads that dont exist on the map)
One thing it seems to be missing is a way to import a lot of personal POIs like .gpx and .loc for geocaching. I really miss the ease with which PMN did this

Having the software tied to a specific card kills the deal for me. I already have my 4G SD and don't want to lose the music to use GPS. I realize there are some good reasons for doing this but it's a dealbreaker for me. If this changes I'll definitely consider upgrading from IG. The routing in IG is not very good. I don't know if it's missing data in the maps or an algorithm problem but sometimes IG really wants to take me on some crazy routes that are defintey not shorter or quicker.
