GPS software have similar look

I don't have a GPS but would like get something for my Axim. I seen a few screenshots of the software and noticed that OnCourse Navigator, MioMap, and iGo look similar with the exception of a few different graphics here and there. Is there a parent company that own these products? Which is the one to get?

Thanks

It's the same software (iGo based) from NavNGo based out of Hungary. They have some pretty impressive stuff coming out. I hope they can pull it off.

PDAMill is the company that makes the software. They are known for making lots of games, and recently renamed themself to Nav-N-Go probably because they think there is more money in the GPS market.

AFAIK:
Currently, iGo is available for European maps only. MioMap is the software that comes on Mio devices, and is not sold separately. OCN is the first one to sell the software by itself with North American maps.

So even though they look the same, depending on what you need you may only have one option.

I bought the BT-332 and the Navteq software from Dell with 51v

Absolutly similar :)

All three use the same maps

And all three do indeed operate on most PPC's [including Axim]

Technically no. MioMap is designed for their own PND (aka All-in-one units) that runs on WinCE.NET OS (meaning no Outlook contacts, excell, word, etc).

Yes, you are correct for iGO and OCN6.

Yes, you are correct for most Axim except for Dell Axim x5. OCN6 is not compatible with Dell Axim x5 (all OS, regardless of original Pocket PC 2002 OS or the upgrade 2003 Premium (aka WM2003)). See more here: http://www.oncoursenavigator.com/for...px?f=10&m=5432
