Dell GPS not getting a position fix

I suspect that my GPS receiver is broken. I've had my Dell Navigation system (bt 309) for just over a year and haven't had a problem with it until recently. Suddenly a few weeks ago it just stopped working. When I check the GPS Status it almost always shows at least 4 and usually more satelites with white bars so the receiver is gettting signals but is not able to establish a position. I've left it on for hours and have moved it around to other locations but can't get it to work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try pulling the battery out and leave it out for about an hour, this will result it to the default settings. Then go to an area where you have a clear view of the sky and turn it back on, don't move it until you get a good lock.
I've had a few receivers that got screwed up and needed a reset.
