Does anyone know if the Dell Navteq GPS software is compatable with the Holux GPSlim 236 reciever, and if so how do I configure it? I have followed the instuctions that came with the software to no avail. The reciever and axim X51v pair fine I just cant get the software to find the bluetooth reciever.

Welcome to Aximsite! Normally, the BT GPS will be on COM7, but if you are using the GPS utility that comes with the X51 series, it may be remapped to something else. I suggest you download GPSViewer, available here, and use it to find the GPS data, then set the Navteq software to that setting.

The GPS viewer that came with the holux works fine (its the same one you suggested). It shows coordinates, time alt,...etc. I just cant get the Dell software to find the reciever. How do I set the software to the correct setting? The software likes to use com ports 7 and 8, while the reciever wants to use 7. Do I have to specify separate com ports for the software and reciever (like 7 for hardware, 8 for outgoing and say 6 for the software?) Your help is greatly appreciated!:)
