Just purchased TomTom 6. I really like it and am planning on using it on a cross country trip. However, it seems to have changed the behavior of my ax. Tomtom seems to start all on its own. It launches itself when I soft reset (something I do daily), and when I try to start other programs...kinda annoying. Also, my ax seems to go into sync mode alot more often, every morning my screen is on when I remove it from its charging cradle. Anybody have any ideas?

Look in \Windows\StartUp and delete the TomTom .lnk file that is most likely there.

I looked in the startup file and their is no link to TomTom their. Could this problem be linked somehow to the battery door issue. I had this issue resolved until one of my coworkers accidentally flung my ax off my desk across the carpeted floor.
