Does it just go without saying anymore that all the major PDA mapping software packages fully support VGA? And are my concerns just out of date? Or is this still an issue that one needs to be concerned about?
FYI I'm looking at OCN6, TomTom, iGuidance, etc.

I can't speak for TT, but iGuidance and OCN6 both fully support VGA. Now, by that I mean that they run on my VGA X50v just fine, and you can use VGA Icons, etc. If you are using one of the hacks that force VGA to be tiny, then I can't say again, because I don't use the hacks.
