GPS recommendation for x50

So when all is said and done, what has the group concluded with respect to the GPS-x50 setup that is producing the least amount of complaints.

Would it be better to buy a dedicated unit? I'm new to GPS stuff... so be kind

I have an X50V and I am very happy with iGuidance 3, Holux 236 BT GPS receiver and the Belkin 3 in 1 car charger system. Anytime you run an X50 with BT you have to have a car charger capable of keeping the X50 charged, and out of the 4 or 5 chargers I tried, only the Belkin worked. I'm sure others will chime in here, but that's what works for me.

Regards,
Pat

I'm currently using Destinator6 with an i.Trek M1. I also have the Belkin 3 in 1 charger, but picked up the i.Trek powered mount from semsons.com when I bought Destinator6. It charges the Axim and the GPS as well as amplifying the audio output from the Axim. Only downside is that there's no volume control on the mount and the Axim volume needs to be turned way down to avoid being too loud.

I bought Destinator6 with the NA and Euro maps for a trip to Switzerland and Italy. It works great - only nit is the inability to route across multiple maps. The QVGA display was simply not an issue for me. When you're driving down the highway, you won't(at least I don't) notice the difference.
