Sweet can't wait for v4 ....I find the routing and the speeches a lot better on iguidance than any other gps software....I always find myself going back to iguidance....tried iGo and tomtom and while their interface is nice and all but i just think iguidance is more accurate ...
Good news.... But I won't buy it. Main reason - I dont want, and I can not, have dedicated SD card only for IG. Maploader's idea was briliant. I can not understand why they don't wanna use it. Really sad...

I have maps on my SD card, along with lots of other stuff. My SD card is not dedicated to iGuidance at all, so I'm not sure what you mean here.

I mean that in version 3 you can copy only map, what you need. I really don't need map of Alaska or Texas, others don't need map of Ontario. But now you SHOULD put ALL maps on your SD. In TomTom is the same story. But TomTom was created for Europe, where 1 country map 200 KB. They just extend maps to NA.
Yes, I can buy 2GB SD, even 4GB... With 4GB it will not be dedicated. But why should I put data on my SD, which I will not use ? I think that this is stupid.

If I understand your point correctly, I think you will find you can still use the Map Loader utility to generate smaller custom maps. It just happens that this version also includes a pre-generated map of the entire USA, to save people time from having to create it themselves.
Of course, I could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted it.
Wait I'm confused. iGuidance just requires 1.3GB it can be SD or CF. I think your confusing it with OCN6 which ships on a dedicated 2GB SD card and will only run from that SD card. Iguidance be installed where you have the space. Albeit it doesn't allow you to load individual states anymore or at the very least regions.
When they say the the PPC, PC and UMPC versions are bundled, can you install your PPC and your laptop at the same time? What about the new license activation? Do you get one license per device type?

Good.... Yes, I can copy it anywhere, where I have space. Right. But I Dont need anything else than Ontario and NY state ! Why should I put all that junk on my SD or CF ?! Again - if Iguidance developers read this thread - can they answer why they did so stupid thing ?
Sorry, guys, but I really MAD. Deteriorate so good product...
I've looked around but can't find the answer...does IG4 work with Windows Mobile 5? I've seen some things about works great on laptops etc. I would like to know that it works on WM5 before shelling out some $$$

From the product announcement page:
"Compatible w/ Windows Mobile 5.0, WM2003, and WM2003se pocket pc or pocket pc phone edition; Windows ME/2000/NT/XP/Vista"
... having a difficult time deciding whether to go with this upgrade or consider switching to OCN6... hmmm. I may try OCN6 before upgrading iGuidance, particularly after Jake Rich's review of OCN6.
