Wired Dell GPS Receiver and Ocn6

I was wondering if the Wired Dell Navteq Gps reciever and Ocn6 are compatible. From all the reviews that I have read on the OnCourse6 it definitely sounds like the best available. So if anyone knows whether or not they are compatible I would love to know. Thanks

From my experience with GPS recievers and software. All the new hardware and software are standards and you should be able to use them in any combination. I have the old pharos/microsoft GPS reciever, used it with ostia, MS S&T, iguidance. I also have a new Wintec gps reciever which works with every gps software I used with it. Back them when GPS just came out, I know that the Copilot software will only work with their reciever. It should work.

Thanks for your input. I am not in any hurry so I will probably wait see how Ocn8 turns out. Hopefully its even better than 6 but who knows newer is always better and by the sounds of it there isn't too much to improve on.

From what I have read so far, OCN6 has a problem with those lucky folks who live in Hawaii. Did you know Hawaii is the only state that has "Interstates" that don't connect to another state, or countries Interstate system? But with miles and miles of beaches and warm weather, who cares?
