Ugg! iGuidance 4.0 Evaluation Disk doesn't have the PocketPC version on it.

I can't believe this. I got the evaluation copy of this software and I cannot install it on my PocketPC to try out. Supposedly the PocketPC version is not on the disk.

Is there anything I can do here? I had it shipped as I wanted to try it out on our trip tomorrow and on the way back on Sunday.

Well FWIW at least others out there will have this information so they don't make the same mistake.

Thanks,
Mike

Short of using a laptop, there's nothing you can do. They do state that at this point there is no demo version for the PPC. Then again, I've owned this since August and still can't register it as their site doesn't work. It is nice software, and worth the price of purchase.

It's only worth the price when it works. Mine starts losing GPS signal some 20 min into the trip - yet v3 works fine.

They probably don't include it on the demo DVD because you don't need to register the pocketpc version for it to work. They would be giving it away if they included it on the DVD.

Used it on trips from 10 minutes to 3 hours and have never lost the GPS signal. It's worked without incident with both my Belkin bluetooth unit and my Globalsat CF unit. Plus, if you're worried about it you can get an all-in-one from them for about $300. I know 2 people who bought them and have had no problems with them in over 6 months of use. Plus, they get better battery life than my Axim.
