Cross-boarder routing in Destinator 6

I've looked in the manual and on the web and although it's advertised that Dest6 can do x-border routing, I can't find any references to actually doing it.

Does anyone have some insight into how to do this. I created two small maplets - one of the Toronto to Niagara area and one of Buffalo, using the map cutting tool. The individual maps work but I can't select more than one (as far as I know). How do I now create a route that crosses over the boarder from Canada into the US?

Any help would be appreciated.

OK, so I sent a query to Destinator support. It turns out I forgot to install the US Roads Map:

Thank you for your email.
You have a question concerning Destinator 6

I suggest you to process this way.
You install on the Sd card the country of origin, the Destination country and the USA roads.

You select first the map of departure in the option "Map Manager - select map"

Then you click on "Adress" - Modus - On an other map

Then you select here the map of Destination and the adress where you need to drive to.

Then the device will calculate the road accross the border.

Should you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

kind regards

The only down side to this is that you cannot 'cut' a section of the US Roads map like you can with the rest of the North America maps. That gives me two small cut maps (approx 8MB ea) of the greater Niagara region and one 58MB map of US Roads. They need to fix that in a future release.
