Having trouble using gps functionality with both navigation software and farm scouting software at the same time. Arkon works just fine, but Site Mate can't/won't access gps. Site Mate is used to map items like soil samples, field boundaries to measure field size, etc.
Any suggestions for gps settings? Thanks.

Unless you have an application to allow it, only one GPS application can use the GPS data at a time. You didn't say what PDA you are using, but if it's an X51, there is an app on it that should allow you to have multiple GPS apps at a time. If you don't then look at Franson's GPSGate (google for it).

It's a 51v. I have the gps setup to allow multiple programs to access the signal at the same time, or so I believe. Is there something further than checking the Manage GPS automatically box under the GPS Access tab?
I'll check out the Franson software you mentioned. Thanks.
