Hi Guys

Thought i would let you know the outcome!

Everything is now working fine..Basically it was a driver missing and once i had installed this it started talking to the Sats and then on TOM TOM!
The only thing im finding with it is that TT seems to be about 100-150 yards behind my actual position! Any thoughts on how i could re-adjust to make more accurate?

Thanks again guys for all your help! :approve:

It is a CF GPS receiver, it doesn't have anything to do with Bluetooth.

You will find the User Manual here.

A little more information about what your problem is might help.

I'm not sure if I can help you with that.

If you are talking about the Dell Nav Software, it is usually supplied to work with a Bluetooth receiver and therefore automatically searches Via BT. I'm not sure how to or even if you can change that.
I think the Dell wired software is configured differently.

Perhaps someone else will be able to answer that.

One thing you could try,
Using the GPSinfo program, make a note of the com port and baud rate that your card is using.
Then in programs or settings (can't remember which) you will find a GPS settings or something like that.
Try changing the settings there to the ones that GPSinfo gives you.
I don't know if it will work, but you can try.

Also, make sure you don't have GPSinfo running when you open the Nav software, the receiver can only communicate with one program at a time, unless you use GPS Gate, but that's something else altogether.

You could also try using google maps, but again I'm not sure if that works without a Phone Data connection.
