Gps-widcomm bluetooth manager problem solved!!!
OK..guys...Its must be really cool news for all people who want to use widcomm manager and bluetooth gps...
its seems like I solved this problem...
By the way I didn't check stereo bluetooth, but seems like its must be ok...
If you trying to connect your Axim and bluetooth gps try next steps :
1.) reinstall your widcomm manager and delete your bluetooth gps pairing...its must be deleted...
2.) install widcomm >>>soft reset...
3.) now you can pair gps and PDA again...just regular settings...you rgps must be shown likespp slave...
I'm using tomtom6 and usually gps using Com1..so I'll tell you what I've done for start my gps...
4.) now go to registry Hkey_local_machine\software\widcomm\btconfig\appli cations\0001
its must be GENERIC SERIAL field NAME and change comportnumber to 01,and all parameters from 8 to 01
5.)after that go to Hkey_local_machine\software\widcomm\connections\00 02
it must be BDname -bluetooth make sure.if not, try to find folder where it says about gps...here the same thing with 8...you need change it to 01
Now..soft reset...
after that you need to go to the gps pairing settings and make sure that in outbound com it is number 1!!!
if not try to do the same but more carefully...
then go to your navigation system settings and make sure that you using gps on port 1...
IF YOU USED YOUR GPS ON ANOTHER PORT NUMBER BEFORE,YOU MUST CHANGE IT TO THE NUMBER WHAT IT USED TO BE BEFORE WIDCOMM INSTALLATION...
if you have any questions feel free to ask...may be I was sooo exited and forgot to tell something...
LET ME KNOW IS THAT SUCCESSFULL OR NOT..I'LL TRY TO HELP...
