I've got TomTom on my Ax, would it be possible to use it for trackdays.
The idea being that I have the GPS in the car on the track days and that creates some sort of video file (kinda like recording the route) that I can then overlay onto the actual footage from the incar camera..

Is there software that does this?
Well, you could use GPSGate to record the NMEA data stream for the day to a file, then use dotPocket Desktop to record the screen as you play the data stream back. Of course, it would take as long to play back as it took for the day's drive, so that would be a lengthy process. I suppose you can also take a laptop with you in the car and do the recording "live" if you want to do it that way. I'm not aware of any video recording software for the PDA.
Just out of interest whats the best GPS receiver to get for this kinda thing?
At the mo I've just got the Dell GPS unit and use TomTom6 but on a track the update times a bit slack when it comes to trackdays
