Aximsitebluetoothicon GPS reciever Navteq BT-309 fail

Hi!

I am the happy owner of a x50v, and the Dell GPS unit Navteq BT-309. It all worked perfectly until one day, out of the blue there where no bluetooth signal from the GPS receiver. The blue LED that used to light when it was on also stopped doing that, but the green satellite LED is still working.

Has anyone else tried this, or know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Kristian

I have one but don't know much about the internal working. The BT LED should come on when the unit is turned on. There is the possibility that it is hosed.

You probably tried this but is it fully charged?

I bought the 51v along with the BT nav system but
mine is the BT332,when I turn it on the green light
comes on and the blue flashes until it locks on sats.
Have you tried removing the battery for a few minutes?

Some of the BT-309 do not have a removable battery. I have one of these but have never had any issues with it. I am drawing a blank.

Thank you for your answers.

The battery is not what's wrong with it, because the green light is on, but the blue light and the bluetooth is turned off on the unit..

I seem to recall there is a reset button on the inside of the battery pocket on the BT-309. It's kind of hidden on the side, actually below the battery and barely visible. You have to use a toothpick to press it. I don't have my BT-309 anymore so all of this is from a notably faulty memory...

Hello, and thank you for your answers. I've just opened the BT-309, and looked all over it, and I can't see any sort of reset button :(
Maybe it's there and I just can't see it, maybe it's not.
