Mad Best GPS unit for Axim X51v ???

Greetings all,
Any recommendations as to the best GPS unit for an X51v?

Seems there are units for the card slot - and also cabled units.

Any and all input from satisfied users :) -- or warnings from bummed out ones --
will be most appreciated!

Thanks! LongJohnSilver

I personally have the HOLUX GR-271 because I wanted an all-in-one setup. That way I can use it in the car, on the golf course, or out hiking. I can also move it between my two cars without a lot of cables to fuss with. :)

You'll also need to decide which software to use with the GPS. I use iGuidance. But, there are a number of good ones out there. I just depends on what you want to use it for and how much you're willing to spend. :)

I used Tom Tom 6 with my X51v for a couple of years and loved it. I now have Garmin XT on my SmartPhone and don't like it quite as much.

Good luck on your decision. Search this and other forums for more opinions on this topic. It's been discussed quite a lot over the past few years.

Have a GPS 10 from Garmin. It's a separate bluetooth receiver. Also, I use Garmin Mobile XT, and I think it's has a better interface than Garmin Que.

If I were buying GPS software for my x51v today, I would seriously consider OnCourse Navigator 8 -- It sounds great!
