Yeah I was looking at that last night. Looks like now all the software and maps are on an ungradeable 4 GB storage card and there is nothing to install on the pocket pc. You can upgrade to a larger storage card (8 GB, must be SDHC) for an additional $10. I wonder if you can just copy the 4 GB storage card to one you already own.....
There's now separate software for computers (that is purchased separately).

Looks like both the 4 and 8 gig are HC cards (micro SD), and it does specifically say that the files are copy protected. That could be a problem indeed if you couldn't run an HC card and had to buy it on the 2 gig card. :( I do like the offer to buy both the PC and the PPC as an upgrade bundle for $99.
I tried to log in today and my old username/password no longer works.
I hope the new Iguidance will run on 2003SE.
Looks like it's only WM5 and above. :(

Most of the gps companies are locking the program to a card, I guess their way of copy protection. You can't copy it to another card and have it work, suppose the card fails, gets washed, stepped on, etc....
I've been looking for one that can be copied and I think the CoPilot Live 7 can, I'm still researching it and others.
That might be a good option for those of us with WM2003.

So far I think iGuidance is the best GPS software and I would buy 2009 version if it runs on x50v. I would even upgrade my x50v to WM6 if it helps:)
I am a big fan of iGuidance. Still have iGuidance 3 and iGuidance W Europe in my Asus Mypal after my tough X5 died on me.
As to iGuidance 09, I am still pondering if I should go for iGuidance 4 now as the new version does not allow installation my my netbook or umpc. The trouble is iGuidance 4 consists of only map of late 2007 vintage.
Now I have an Aspire One running S&T2009, iGuidance 3, and Garmin CNNA2009 via an usb gps.
Still have to get used to the way of Garmin compared with the familiar iGuidance voice prompt. Here is my main setup now
Compared with ppc, the umpc option is an entirely new ballgame.
can someone tell me does it have the smooth update speed like tomtom? the good thing about tomtom and driving in NYC is that if you go in a tunnel the map on tomtom keeps going at your last speed that you lost signal at until you get to the other side where last time I tried iguidance V3.0 it would just not track any more until it got a fix again then update to the position on the map.
OK, has anyone ordered this yet? Have you received it yet? First impressions about the new version? I've been waiting on this update wondering if I'd be happier buying an all in one unit instead.
i received iguidance 2009 pocketpc about 1 week ago.
i have no problem with user interface same as previous version,
y would u want a new UI where u can have to learn everything again.
i like the routing in version 4.0 better.
when i go to this casino, it tells me to exit freeway 1 exit earlier, (exiting freeway 4 miles prematurely then drive 4 miles on local). ig 4.0 exit the freeway correctly.
and POI search is useless, it takes UP TO 3 minutes before results show up, u better off using google map or live search for your POI needs.
You might want to checkout OnCourse Navigator 8. It has the best UI I have seen. I have used OCN since version 4. I liked version 4. They changed routing and a few other things in version 5 and I did not like some of the changes. I came very close to moving to iGuidance, but they changed from Navigon to iGo on version 6. Since I got a discounted price I went with OCN6. Version 6 was two steps forward and two steps back. Routing was better, the UI was better, but you could not create and save routes for later use and there a few other minor issues. I have yet to find an issue with OCN8. Routing is good. It uses TelAtlas maps instead of Navtech, but I have yet to find a map error. I believe the OCN8 UI is now the gold standard other programs will be judged by. I hated 3D maps until OCN6 and OCN8 is better yet. I know the perfect GPS street navigation program does not exist, but OCN8 is getting very close.
