OCN6 problem...canada maps only!

I'm trying to set up my gps for tomorrow, and for some reason ocn only shows Canada! It worked fine the last time I used it, but I have hard reset since...but I wouldn't think that would make a difference I'm not currently hooked up to the gps receiver...would that affect it? I was hoping to enter addresses in it tonight before leaving tomorrow.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

It will work better with a GPS connected, because it has a start/current location, and maybe you were last in Canada.

Where the maps are stored could be a problem, did you erase them when you hard reset, or do you have them on an SD or CF card.
Do you perhaps need to reinstall them from a CD.
Have you checked that you are in the right region.
With some software you need to try to set a nav point but while doing that change the region/country, then you need to restart the application to move to the other maps.

The dell software is like that. It will only give me German addresses until I change region, through the search for an address page, then restart.

I have never been to Canada (to the best of my knowledge) LOL

The whole program is on a SD card, so the maps should be there, but I cannot seem to change the location. When I try to enter a five digit zip code, it stops me at three and tries to guess, and the guess is always Canada. We know where we are going for the first few hours tomorrow, so I guess I will hook it up to the receiver and play with it while hubby drives.

I'm not in Canada!!

The same thing happened to me yesterday (January 9). I tried to use OCN6 on my AT&T Tilt for the first time since doing a hard reset. First, it can't find my GPS receiver, but, second, it only lets me choose locations in Canada to route to. I think it's amazing that sombody else had this same problem!

Hope somebody has an answer/solution.

Happens with Axim X-50V, too

Sorry. Forgot to mention that the same OCN6 problem (only Canada available) happened on my Axim X-50V, too, in addition to my AT&T Tilt, so it appears to be something within the OCN6 program.
