Most mapopolis-like GPS unit?
I have been following the market and has been on the hunt for a GPS device with maps that draw fast when panned, customizable routing options such as pointing a spot and routing "through" this spot, or stuff like hitting a spot on the map and seeing the address or street # displayed, or zooming in and out by speed, such as if I go fast it would zoom out by itself.. Also being able to show less/more details without zooming in/out...
Anyway, I checked a lot of different units, Sony, TomTom, Magellan and Garmin, and non of them can even come close to what Mapopolis was even on 200Mhz Dell Axim (When it was running @ 200Mhz).
So, if there is anyone here who has used Mapopolis and later switched to standalone GPS unit, are you happy with what you got? Is it reliable/fast?
BTW, I am still using my mapopolis on X5 very happily, and will probably continue as long as my CF GPS receiver works.
