New Mapopolis Version??

It's been a while since mapopolis posted a version update on their site. This is very unusual for them (usaullay updates every 2 weeks). Are they revamping the software? maybe incorporating 3D views since most of the competition seems to be heading in that direction? Maybe their working on something big for all of us fans. If anyone knows anything please post.

I dont care for the 3D view. Have you really drove and tried to look at that at the same time without a co-pilot? I did with Destinator 2 and its confusing and slow.

But I did ask mapopolis support about updates since I forked out $99 to them and received no updates and they said they are doing an upcoming update of their maps, not software.

I know their maps are out of date to at least a few years in my area (santa clara county, california).
