I don't know if this has been covered, and if so, I apologize. I have an x51v with wm2005 on it and tomtom nav 6, and a dell gps bt-309 receiver. Everything works great. Except I no longer have the dell gps installation cd/software. I have tried all the settings on the forums and can not get the axim and receiver to pair...I don't know if I need to reinstall the software or not. Any help would be wonderful....

I run BT-332 with my 51v using Dell/Navteq,MS PocketStreets and
Java based Trekbuddy and these are screen shots of Start/Settings/System/Gps
don't know if it will help you.
Your nav app has to be told where to find the data stream also and
I assume this is accessible in it's setup after app is running.

Question, if you are using T6 Navigator then what do you need the dell software for?

If you are using TomTom the teh dell software is useless to you. The CD just has Dells nav software & maps on it. There is nothing on that cd that is going to help you pair the receiver. With the Dell software you don't have to pair the receiver with your Axim. Once the program is installed you simply run it. It automatically detect the BT reciver.

You need to make sure that BT in enabled & in discovery mode. Once your Axim detects the receiver it will ask you for a code which is 2003. Once this set is complet you will need to go in & set up an outgoing com port usually com 4.

If your Axim is not seeing the BT receiver then there is an issue with one of the two. I might suggest a hard reset.
