Same car as above!!

Phar that's a great mount! Where'd you get it/how much? Mine blocks the vent and sits too low, so I lose signal quite a bit.

ProClip & Akron Powered Multimedia

I like the way the ProClip mounts to the car. I just ordered the Akron CM527 Powered Multimedia PDA Mount because of the built-in speaker (Ford Windstar is really noisey on the highway). Do you think the Akron with the speaker can be adapted to fit on the ProClip mount? This would be the best of both worlds.

Well if you can afford a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, what's another $100 :rolling:

Sure but it's still a waste to throw $100 just to hold my $160 Axim (got a good deal).

And besides, its an 01 ;)

Yes, the 303e can be used as a CF or mouse GPS. You need cables for the mouse use, but the neat thing is that the power/data cable powers both the GPS and the Axim through the bottom connector of the Ax, a connection that is much more solid than the coax plug that falls out when the Ax is vertical.

X5 in a Suburban

Am using the X5 with Pocket Map Navigator with mouse antenna in a Suburban.

The Garmin is a back up and supplement. The Garmin does not give street routing, but points to a direct route. It does, however, use NavTech data, never fails, freezes, or locks up, has a super local information (POI) database, and bunch of user defined functions. Also, by having two displays set at different ranges results in a better 'big picture' of 'where am I' in relation to___ ? I am still tossing the coin on dumping all of this and buying a Garmin 2610.
