(3) IF use in the mouse mode my CF slot can be used for storing maps. (4) Not really sure if I understand the mouse mode unless that means it stands alone and can be placed anywhere close to pick up a signal. (5)Do these units come with all connection cables I will need to connect to bypass using the Axim battery (mouse mode)? (6) Finially is the 303MMF worth the extra ~ $50?
Thanks,

Lots of questions!
1. True.
2. True, about 30 minutes difference on a standard battery, I figure.
3. True.
4. Mouse mode means it's connected by a wire (like your PC mouse) to the Axim instead of being stuck in the CF slot. You can put the mouse anywhere you want within the limit of the 6 foot cable. It is NOT magnetic mounted and it is NOT weatherproof, so it can't be stuck on the outside of your car like a true mouse GPS unit (Haicom 204E, for example).
5. I'm not sure. The 303E I got came with the cables as part of the kit, but that may be just buygpsnow.com's bundle. Suggest you ask your vendor. In CF mode it gets power from the Axim, but in mouse mode it needs external power from somewhere. THe full kit has a power supply that plugs into your car and powers both the 303E and the Axim at the same time. Slick!
6. That is your call. For me, the 303E is just fine. Some propellerheads want the latest bells and whistles so for them the $50 may be worth it.
