Seido Car Mount Speaker

I'm interested to hear your feedback on the Seido powered mount. My experience is horrible. I love the mount itself, but the sound is worse than any 5 cent radio I've ever seen. Even before I start my fairly noisy car there is no way I can use the Seido speaker for music, MP3's, or navigation directions.

Is mine faulty or are they all that bad? I really appreciate some feedback as I'll send it back if mine is just a lemon.

I have had no problem with mine. I can be doing 70 down the highway in my civic, both windows down, sunroof open, radio cranked up, and hear the GPS navigaion clearly. MP3s don't sound as good as a normal stereo, but they are still desent. Maybe your speaker is cracked or something. I would e-mail them.

That certainly sounds a ton better than mine does. Car in the garage, windows up, motor off, no radio on and it's still hard to hear. I'll bet you're right and the speaker is cracked or something is loose. I'll email them and see if they can help.
