Great PPC Software!

I purchased a GPS card for my X5 from Circuit City. It came with a 30 day free trial PocketMap Navagator program. I figured I'd give it a shot for 30 days and then try Mapopolis for it's free trial and then make my purchase descision. Hands down PocketMap Navigator was so much more well thought out than Mapopolis. I bought PocketMap Navigator on-line just after two days of using the lesser program. You guys did a great job on this intuitive navigation program. Thing's like the voice saying the name of the street for your next turn! My only critique is you need a new voice for the system, but that is a minor objection compared to all the other good stuff you get.

Hi,

Thanks very much for the feedback!

Please note that the trial version you have is PMN 2003 R2.11. PMN 2004 release has many more features and enhancements.

Here's more info on the PMN 2004:

Everything I have read and heard about PMN 2004 is that it is a great program. Is there any plans of a trial period like Destinator3 and Mapopolis? Maybe a special offer for Aximsite members?;)

Hey Rocketeer, I have an Axim X5 basic. Is the overhead of your program or maps such that it won't run or run well on my setup? I thought I read that the program has to be installed in main memory and I don't have much left. Everything I read about your program sounds great but I am concerned about my memory (or the axim's at least).

Thanks for your response.

You would need to install the application in Main Memory but the Map data could be on a storage card.

Thanks. I guess I'll be pushing it but hopefully it'll work.
